Seasonal Colors

Grassy Waters Preserve, North Palm Beach

This is about as close as we come to any Autumn colors here in south Florida
These are cypress trees ..... they lose their foliage every fall.
But the leaves just die, turn brown and fall off. No brilliant reds or golds.
They will, however, be a dazzling spectacular green come March and April.

Very similar to Texas, but I like the rusty brown of the Cypress. Ours appear RED in the sunlight and give us a small taste of autumn color.

These are a lot paler than in the colder areas, like in NZ. For us it is the colder areas down south put on more brilliant displays
