Dacrycarpus dacrydioides or kahikatea (Māori ) is a coniferous tree endemic to New Zealand.
What is interesting about this photo is that two Kahikatea trees have grafted together.
The most conspicuous tree in Smith’s Bush is the feathery grey-green Kahikatea
This is the tallest of the New Zealand forest trees, attaining physical heights of up to 60m.
