I think this was probably taken at the Ocmulgee River, McRae's Landing, near Lumber City, when PROJECT RAFT consummated its efforts in the launching of a raft at Lumber City that was floated all the way to Darien and the Atlantic Ocean. There is a marker on the spot that now tells about all this. Brainard Cheney was the famoous author who wrote Lightwood (Lighterd), River Rogue, Devil's Elbow, and other works relating to the Ocmulgee River area.
