Some folks think it’s not humane to force a prisoner to work on a road crew.
I don’t think it’s humane for a man to ram a 9mm pistol into some kid cashier’s face and demand the money from a cash register.
If they don’t want to do the time, they shouldn’t do the crime.
A man doesn’t have to steal or hurt others to make a living.
