The central gourd is held to the mouth, where the player constantly breathes in and out. The two holes facing the player are closed by the thumb, and two holes of the pipes are covered to create a drone sound.

Der Spieler bläst in den dunklen Zentralkörper während er das Instrument aufrecht zwischen den flachen Händen hält. Die beiden vorderen Löcher werden vom Daumen bedient, während die anderen Finger jeweils zwei Löcher zugeordnet bekommen.
