04-JAN-2005 London (sniff!)

4 January

Oh Darn!

It has not been a good day. The French holiday ended (sigh!) by having to drive to the airport before dawn
in very thick fog. I was back in the office by 1. And now this .... I do have another pair (I am blinder than
any bat), although one of the staff told me that my spare specs make me look like the cartoon character Atom Ant.

Sob!

I had a difficult time posting PaDs for the past several days, both because of the problems with PBase
and the fact that I had the slowest internet connection known to man. So, I have uploaded three other PaDs today:

I'm like Gayle. I keep a pair by the puter, another in the kitchen, one on my nightstand, a couple in the junk drawer, one in the car, and so on. I'm never without my reading glasses! Good pic!

bummer deal... I'm blind without my glasses too. I'm enjoying your pad, thanks for stopping by mine, that's how I found you

Looks like a person who broke their leg with the way that stem is positioned.. Sorry about your glasses BUT you need to take a pic of you with the "atom ant" ones on.. :D

lol

Oh no,Jim! If I don't have my glasses,I have to have my contacts or else everything will look like bokeh to me too. Hope youu get them repaired soon...or hey, this is a great excuse for getting new ones!!!

I had a glance at all your images, but this is my favorite. Its interesting how something as simple as glasses can draw the eye to pay attention too. I really like this a lot. See, your glasses just made you in my eyes an artist! ::Says this in french:: an A-rr- teee-st.

I buy inexpensive reading glasses by the half dozen because I'm so likely to do this. Shame on your co-worker :-)
