_MG_7954 Came up to greet me!

I went downstairs to see how my defector from the deck was faring and found him deep in this Scarletta leucothoe plant. When I approached he jumped to the top. Must have anticipated the fruit flies that were going to be sprinkled on the plant. Decided to get a tape measure to see if I could measure this fellow. I was astounded when he let me hold the tape about a centimeter away from him. From tip of head to tip of tail, he's 2 centimeters long.

Since I take mine out all the time they are very used to me, in fact they climb on the camera lens. I love to watch them turn their head and look at me when I approach.

That's funny, he recognizes you. Do they turn brown as they get older or before they shed their skins? At 2 cm they're still quite small to focus on.

He's turned into a regular pet! :-) How cool.
