After hearing "Archiver's" and several other users reports about silicone cases, and especially this one, I ordered one for my son-in-law, but not myself. Gives you a much better grip on the slippery camera and has a nice hard protective screen for the lcd. The lanyard comes with it as does a clear plastic cover for the lcd.
