A little over 10 days ago, Beegie injured one rear leg while walking amongst my computer wires. I don't know exactly how she did it, but she has only started putting the barest of weight on that leg in past couple of days. An X-ray showed no break and she's been on pain killers. She would very much like not to be confined, but she has to be in better shape before I subject her to the annoying dog. Update, 1-10/07: Beegie underwent surgery for the messed-up ankle she incurred and required the insertion of a metal plate and several screws to put the complicated joint back together. She is now confined to a crate with her leg in a cast and will have to remain there for 8-10 weeks.
