Backlit situations require special attention to metering. It was a bright morning when I took this and I used centerweighted metering. No manipulation or sharpening other than a bit of rotation, slight cropping and reduction in size by 50%. At ISO 200 this picture came out very well! View it at Original size to see the great detail
