Have you ever heard of a Cronut?

A recent article in USA Today made me aware of them and I searched for one in our vicinity, finding they could be had in Asheville, NC, about a half hour more or less from where I live. We were lucky enough to get the last two for the day and they weren't spectacular as looking as those in this instructional video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RgtdGbpoKpA but they sure tasted good - and at $3.45 apiece, they should have! I will definitely be trying to emulate those shown on the video! Check out "Dough" in the "next" video.

$3.45 for one......GOOD LORD!! Heck, u could've had a dozen Krispy Kreme glazed donuts for less than the price of two of these bad boys (LOL). I'm a French Cruller kinda guy though.

Whats happening Isabel, hope all is well. Never heard of a cronut before. Seems as if they would be pretty tasty though.
