I fell in love with lemon verbena when a friend brought me a lemon verbena pound cake. I asked her for cuttings and started them in a mix of sphagnum moss and perlite after they had been dipped in rooting hormone. They were placed in the plastic bag so the humidity would hasten rooting. Since lemon verbena is susceptible to frost I will grow it as a house plant in the winter and place it outside next spring.
