P1010320 Very Wet Bee

It was drizzling slightly when I went to get the mail and I saw this immobile bee clinging to a garlic chive blossom. I tried several cameras and lenses to capture him and decided this was the best of the shots because I couldn't get the depth of field I wanted with the other cameras without a tripod, which I wasn't going to set up. When it stopped raining, about an hour later, the bee was gone.

Poor little bee, he looks just drenched and hanging on for dear life! I often wonder about little creatures when it rains and what happens to them. A very nice shot!
