Memory Void

Daniel Libeskind, the architect of the Jewish Museum, created empty spaces in several parts of the building. These voids, as he called them, extend vertically throughout the structure and represent the absence of Jews from German society. This void is named the Memory Void.

Very chilling. The orange is wonderful in creating a contrast to the darkness and the sad story it tells

Phil is right...this image is really quite powerful! The girl slouching along the side adds a whole other dimension to the story.

This child's posture echoes the dynamic thrust of the table in the foreground. The orange arm stands out in stark contrast as well. Another powerful image that would benefit from original sizing.
