Holga 120N

I was out for coffee with the guys from Saskatoon the other night....
and look what Steve shows up with a New yes New Holga 120N Digital Camera....
Wow is this baby sweet....plastic and of very little weight, simple yet
some very nice user controls, full manual film advance, 6 X 6 or 6 X 4.5 in camera crop,
ISO from old Ektar25 to VPS400 and passed QC sticker to boot....
This range finder Holga was a big hit with the guys Steve could not stop talking about it.

Nikon D300 ,Sigma 10-20mm f4.5/5.6 AF EX HSM
1/3s f/5.6 at 20.0mm iso1250 full exif

other sizes: small medium original auto

As attractive as it is...I feel I can resist the urge to own one. Nice shot and treatment though Mike,

Hi John, I'm the Steve Mike's talking about, and you are sooo right, the newness (and dissapointment when you get crap photos back) could very easily wear off quickly... especially when I can immitate in post what I can shoot witht the Holga. It WAS ony $29.00 after all :)

I alomst like your shot more than my Holga Mike, thanks for sharing!

I've had the urge to buy one of those for some time, but I'm afraid the newness would wear off quickly. I don't think I'm good enough to really take advantage of what the little camera can offer, or more precisely, my style probably isn't a good fit with what the camera can produce.
