Testing the 100-400mm lens that Canon sent to replace my old, faulty one.
I think I disturbed this Common Grackle coming in for a pickup.
The feeder just below and to the front of him contains peanuts.
He appears slightly out of focus but that's camera shake due to an overcast day and a slow shutter speed (to test the image stabilization).
