I used PhotoShop's automatic contrast adjustment tool on this photo. Often when a photo looks flat, I use this photo editing tool and it only slightly alters the appearance of the photo. However with sky photos, this tool frequently radically changes the appearance of those photos so I very rarely post them in my galleries. I prefer nature photos that look very much like the scene that I shotwith no gimmicks. But I made an exception with this photo because the contrast adjustment did capture the light as I saw it when I took the orginal photo. Unfortunately the colors became a bit artificial and much more pronounced. I might try a black & white version to get another perspective of the image. Now I notice I should have used an noise reduction filter to clarify the atmosphere.
