About 3000 people were killed in this attack. Over 400 were firemen, paramedics & policemen. Current reports indicate that explosives were planted inside the buildings before the planes hit the two towers. This attack led to the ongoing 'War on Terrorism' over 10 years ago, killing and injuring millions of people since then.
