Steps through the rock

Logan, Ohio view map

Steps have been carved through rock formations in Hocking Hills State Park,
like these in the Old Man's Cave area, to provide easier access for hikers.
Millions of years of stream erosion through sandstone bedrock created a unique
collection of rock formations, waterfalls and cliffs included in Hocking Hills.

I like these photos. If it took millions of years to carve out these sandstone formations using water, how long did it take for the steps to wear with people using them?
