Nature and the city

New York, NY view map

The pond in the southeast corner of New York City's Central Park provides a quiet, natural setting in the middle
of one of the world's largest cities.

There is nothing "natural" about Central Park. It is a planned and sculpted park. Every bush and tree as well as every pond was "placed" there as a park to be enjoyed by all New Yorkers. That everyone thinks it's natural is a testament to the designers. I think it's one of the wonders of the world.
