A male American goldfinch sits in the early morning sun while feeding on seeds that remain on a Maximillian sunflower

Nice shot, Pat. I see that you were using the 2x TC (I believe.) I haven't had very good luck with it, but I don't have a long lens as fast as yours to try mine on. (My fastest longer lens is 200L f/2.8. ) (I would be at f/8 with my 300 f/4 & 2x, but I will give it a try.)
