A view of the Oculus from the west, which — except for the buildings in the background — looks the same
as from the east. The Oculus, a futuristic structure designed by Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava to look
like a dove in flight, is the centerpiece of the World Trade Center transportation hub in Lower Manhattan
in New York City adjacent to the 1 World Trade Center building. The massive Oculus includes train and subway
