The Angel of the Resurrection statue stands atop the Pennsylvania Railroad World
War II Memorial in the main concourse in the 30th Street Station, the main railroad
station in Philadelphia. The 39-foot-tall memorial, designed by Walter Hancock,
commemorates the 1,307 Pennsylvania Railroad employees who died in World War II.
