I was lucky to catch this visitor enjoying the water lily. There were some dragonflies around, but they rarely stay in one place for long and are usually too fast for me to photograph. That’s Tim’s job, but he was busy with Queenie.
*****
We used to visit the gardens every July for the Lotus and Water Lily Festival but didn't make it last year, so we decided to take advantage of the July 4 holiday and toured the park with Queenie. We were a bit early for full bloom, but still, an enjoyable time was had by all.
