Queenie in her new outfit

Queenie managed to rip the scab off her hotspot in a rare unsupervised moment last week, so we had to visit our vet to get the damage checked out. The vet said she had to continue to wear her “cone of shame” or this bodysuit for another week and keep taking all the medications I had been giving her. She hates the cone, but hates the new outfit even more, as it seems to limit her range of motion, and she was refusing to go on walks with it on. So we’re back to the cone for four more days.

Oh dear, let's hope she manages to let things heal again before she has another go at ripping the scab off. V

Hope she is all better by now. She looks good in that color. V

She looks very pretty in her outfit. Much better than the cone. V

I'd say the color suits her at least but I don't think she cares about that.

Hang in there...

Well she looks quite cute in her pink outfit, but I know my granddog hates it when she has to wear pajamas for Christmas day. I do think they feel very constrained.

I think the pink suit is much more becoming

Dogs will be dogs, I guess, Helen. A nice portrait of your great friend and its keeper.

Ah poor girls - even though she does look rather fetching in pink.

Convincing a pet that it's for their benefit is not easy... :)

Poor girl. Hope the meds completely resolve the problem.
Love that painting on the wall. Makes me think that Jackson Pollock might have used a dog as part of his painting process..

Poor Queenie! She does have a mind of her own though which makes it tough on everyone for the next while.

I don't think I'd want to go for a walk wearing pink either! Poor baby, I hope she gets better real soon

Poor Queenie, if only she knew it was to make her better. Most dogs seem to hate being restricted, some more than others. I've never had a dog that took to cones very well! Hang in there Queenie!! V

They can be such stinkers at times, but thankfully she has loving 'parents' to get her the care she needs.

Seems like the cone may be a better option. This looks somewhat like PJ's they sell for dogs and would be restrict movement.
