55 hours across the Australian continent

I don’t really remember why I took a bus from Perth to Canberra after the America’s Cup races – whether it was to save money or because I wanted to see the interior of the continent, but it was well worth the 55 hours it took to get home. Tim, of course, flew since his fare was paid by the government as he was representing the US Embassy in Canberra.

What an amazing experience. I don't know if I could do 55 hours without a window seat.

I hope the bus was comfortable! I'm sure you saw a lot of great sights that you would have missed on plane ride. V

I too would have chosen the bus, and see all of 'Stralia. They have comfortable seats, toilet and you bring a small lunch, Subway sort of thing ... and get to know new friends

Fifty-five hours by bus is a long time, but you must have gotten to see a lot along the way in that 2 plus days.

Bus travel can be a great way to see a country... 55 hours is a long time, however, but then Australia is huge! Great shot. V
