Banana plantation, Coffs Harbour, NSW

From what I see online, Coffs Harbour used to produce the bulk of Australia’s bananas, with the hillsides covered in banana plants. But apparently its production has now been almost entirely overtaken by that of northern Queensland.

An abundance of our favourite fruit. You should have heard the reaction when a cyclone knocked out most of the supply for a year!
