Of all times not to have a ‘real’ camera with me!

Quite by chance (accident, actually) we drove by Constitution Gardens Sunday afternoon and from the street saw my old friend the great blue heron in the lake. We managed to find a parking place and rushed to the gardens, and he was still there, preening – not terribly far away, but far enough. All we had on us was our iPhones, which aren’t great for long-distance photography, but we tried using digital zoom (not ideal, I know), and this was the best picture we got. Now that we know he’s back – after not seeing him for a couple of years -- we’ll have to stop by the gardens again next week with some better cameras.

Even so, you still got a lovely shot of this elegant long-legged heron. V

Good to know he's back. Although Cell Phone Cams are limiting, it's still nice to have this memory shot.

A treat to see your visitor return at last. It looks like a good habitat for a heron so more photo chances to come I hope.

A great way to reunite with an old friend. Have to admit that the phone cameras have come a long way, but am looking forward to more shots with your Z7.
