You can be assured the me meat will always be quality as he wouldn't last long in business if it wasn't :)

Wonder if they sell kangaroo. Seriously!!! Strange name for a shop, but probably the best butcher around. My grandparents and grandparents and great grandparents were farmers and had DYO "country killed", fresh meat. Raised on the farm, my mom also can still dress a freshly killed deer. Or turn a live rabbit or chicken on the hoof into dinner on the table. Me? I'm a city girl and refuse to even eat rabbit.

There is no mistaking what that place is. It is probably better than coming from a factory type slaughter house. Hopefully it is more humane. V

What a neat sign, it can be interpreted a couple of ways!

That's one way to let you know the meat is local and fresh! V

visceral, but lets not mince words...just the spot to buy your rib-eye steaks..

I'm sure farming folks appreciate the difference. My Mom only bought country killed meat (in Pennsylvania it's from Amish farms) Supposedly less stress on the animal before slaughter instead of shipping to the slaughter house and then going through the process there. Less stress makes the meat better. V
