‘Kangaroos next 30 km’

We traveled around a lot of Australia during our two years there, mainly by car. I hope to post some pictures from states we visited – all except the Northern Territory -- not many, but enough to give an idea of what we saw.

I found the road signs fascinating, many of them ones you’d never see anywhere else.

Certainly a danger for the driver, specially when your attention is impaired by the long straight roads...

Like Christine, I remember these signs while driving around Australia. Very well composed shot that gives one a taste of the landscape, too.

That is an interesting sign to see. Those signs are probably all over like our deer crossing signs. The road disappearing into the distance reminds me of the desert southwest. V

I'm used to the beware of moose or deer signs. This one is certainly an eye opener for the driver!
