Stanton Park, a major park on Capitol Hill not far from our home, has a beautiful display of cherry trees in bloom. It’s a good thing we stopped when we did for this picture because the wind suddenly picked up and cherry blossoms were flying everywhere. Strong winds are forecast for this afternoon, too, so I’m afraid soon there won’t be much left of our beautiful spring display.
