Saturday wasn’t the best day for cherry blossom viewing due to the poor weather. A former colleague of mine drove down with her family from New Jersey (like 5 hours) to visit the Tidal Basin and kept texting me that traffic was at a standstill, that there was no place to park anywhere nearby and that it was freezing when they finally got to the basin. Unfortunately, it’s better to do that on a weekday and in sunny weather, but at least they saw them.

This was taken near the US Capitol, where there were no crowds and plenty of places to park.

Best to view in "Original" because other versions resized by PBase are decidedly
unsharp.
