‘AREA CLOSED’

So we’re back to the US Capitol being surrounded by fencing, in advance of Biden’s State of the Union address on Tuesday, amid fears of a convoy of truckers showing up to try to disrupt the proceedings. Interestingly, they were allowing tourists onto the premises, but I imagine that will end soon.

I hope this doesn't get out of control in Washington the way it did in Ottawa. This CBC report is 40 minutes long but it does a good job in identifying the various deluded, racist, violent and seditionist elements involved in organizing the Canadian "freedom" convoy. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y2OlAXDW7W0 Ted Cruz and Fox News think that this kind of protest is a good thing. Reminds me of our capital Ottawa in the last few weeks...finally the streets are cleared of the truck convoy and peace has been restored for the citizens there...for now. v
