We didn’t go to any of our traditional places last year – the US Capitol for the Congressional Christmas Tree, the Canadian Embassy for its beautiful tree, the National Christmas Tree at the White House – due to the pandemic, so it’s nice to be able to see them once again. We haven’t yet been to the White House because, as Tim would say, it hasn’t been cold enough to suit me, but maybe tonight if the temps are in the 20s or low 30s, we’ll get there ;-).

unsharp.
