Examining the crape myrtle

A lot of sparrows descended on our crape myrtle and front garden today, I guess to eat what used to be berries but I understand are now seed heads.

Best to view in "Original" because other versions resized by PBase are decidedly
unsharp.

Never thought of crape myrtle as a source of food. I have a huge tree at the side of our house that we can barely see. Nice to know the birds can feed on it.
