At work on the lantana

Another busy bee at the Franciscan Monastery in Northeast DC. There certainly was no shortage of bees that day!

Best to view in "Original" because other versions resized by PBase are decidedly
unsharp.

Excellent macro. The bee even looks a touch monkish with that off-white cloak, though feasting in all that brightness is perhaps not monkish behaviour.
