The monastery’s only butterfly

We went back to the Franciscan Monastery in NE Washington because last year there had been lots of butterflies in their garden, and quite frankly, because we couldn’t go anywhere else due to street closures everywhere for protests and other major gardens still being closed on account of the pandemic.

Unfortunately, we only saw one butterfly, or more precisely a skipper – maybe it’s too early? – but we enjoyed walking all over the extensive grounds.

Best to view in "Original" because other versions resized by Pbase are decidedly unsharp.
