We drove by the Tidal Basin on our way home today, not by design but by accident, so I took a few drive-by shots of the famous cherry trees (after we stopped under a bridge so I could get my camera out of the trunk ;-)). The water in the distance is the Tidal Basin, and the Jefferson Memorial is obscured by the blossoms, which are at peak bloom. Maybe we’ll try it again tomorrow when the weather is better.
Best to view in "Original" because other versions resized by Pbase are decidedly unsharp.
