Fearless

It’s been nice to have so many pictures from Tim of Uzbekistan since I don’t have many new pictures of my own – just no opportunity to go anywhere noteworthy between bad weather and too many errands to run on the weekends. We’re going back to the farm animal sanctuary on Sunday for a fundraising event, so hopefully some of the residents will agree to have their pictures taken.

I did manage to get to the park today for a few bird pictures. I realized when I got home that the camera technician had changed the quality settings on my camera, so I had no RAW images, which I always use. I had never seen crows feeding on the grass before and was amazed at how unafraid they were of passersby. Instead of flying away, they just hopped out of the way.

The other end of the courtyard, Kukeldash Madrasah, Tashkent, posted earlier:

This is wonderful, Helen. Love the way you've captured the glossiness of the feathers. Crows are unbelievably clever birds, one of my favourites. V
