Old standbys

Back to my old standbys, both in subject and camera. The house sparrows next door are always willing to pose, and my D810 and long zoom lens always manage to capture them without much trouble, other than their sheer weight. I’m still working on the Sony.

I'm getting a better appreciation for how much goes into distance bird photos. This is a great one. Beautiful sparrow. We don't get them in our yard. V

a good compact can prove valuable, but a good SLR is usually irreplaceable..
