I haven’t had time today to think about what picture to post so snapped this when out for a walk with Sahraa and Tim. I just think these starlings are so striking looking.
I’m not so sure I’m going to keep this new camera. Occasionally I get a good bird shot from it, but nine times out of ten they aren’t in good focus (or any kind of focus, for that matter) when zoomed to any great distance. I’ve tried all different kinds of focus modes, with little success with any of them. It’s sort of a fun camera, but since I bought it for the long lens and light weight, it may not be worth keeping if I can’t make it do what I need it to do.
A bit belated, posted earlier
