Old Naval Hospital, now a community center (1866)

This is the Old Naval Hospital, constructed in 1866 upon an order issued in 1865 by Abraham Lincoln. In 1922 the building became a home for war veterans and subsequently was vacant for many years. Restoration started in 2010, and it now serves as a community and arts center on Capitol Hill.
