'The cone of shame'...

…as Tim calls it. He had to take Sahraa to the vet this morning because she had been biting her back and it looked infected. Turned out it was from fleas, although we have no idea where she got them (maybe in Pigeon Forge). She now has to wear this cone, which she hates and keeps banging into everything, and be administered antibiotics and an ointment for 10 days. Not a happy camper at all.

I didn’t have enough time to try to adjust for the light since I had to grab this shot in the brief second she was looking towards me.

We had a local veterinarian who had a sign that said something like "It's all fun and games until someone has to where a cone". I do feel for Sahraa, not because of the cone but from the problems with the fleas.

Oh dear poor Sahraa! I think dogs who are not used to having fleas react very badly when they suddenly get them, hope the cone can be removed soon. Barbara

Not a happy look and I know she must be miserable. Just hope she has not introduced the fleas inside your home. Such a sad expression on her face. V
