Getting ready for the inauguration

It has been a long time since we walked around the US Capitol building, especially on a beautiful day when it wasn’t hot and humid (but it was bitterly cold, so maybe just as bad). The long-awaited restoration on the dome is finished, and now they are setting up stands for all the important people who will attend the inauguration of Donald Trump. We only live 11 blocks from the Capitol, but I have no intention of going, although maybe if there's a protest…

Ah, the famous Trump Dome.
I read it will be covered in gold leaf, with a big neon arrow pointing to his new hotel.
