Yesterday we stopped by the Canadian Embassy to see a sculpture by the now deceased British Columbia Haida artist Bill Reid. We found this pool in a park neighboring the embassy, where this little bird was busily and repeatedly checking under the turtles and the leaf above and to the right, I assume looking for food. At first I thought the turtles were real ;-), but there was no doubt about the bird.
