This walkway runs past the US Department of Transportation headquarters, with outdoor displays of various types of transport along the way. I got told by a guard that I was on federal property and therefore was not allowed to take any pictures. My response to him, pointing to a lot of ashtrays out there, was: How can it be OK for people to smoke here but not take pictures?? At least he didn’t make me delete them.

This is all for the time being for this gallery, but I’m sure we’ll be back to this neighborhood soon, even if just to have dinner at a new Mexican restaurant we found.
