Seeing the sights

My good friend Fatih, visiting from Turkey, and I spent the day seeing some of the sights in Washington. He was actually on a business trip to Milwaukee but made a two-day stop in DC just to see us, which was great since I haven’t been back to Turkey for five years or so, although he and his wife stayed with us in Budapest in 2012/13.

We’ll be spending the day together again until his flight leaves for Istanbul tonight, so I’ll have to catch up later with Pbase.

I'm so glad I had the chance to stop by and I regret that it was so short and I had to leave so early. But still, I had a great couple of days thanks to you and Tim, and I certainly think we shouldn't wait that long to get together again. And this photo is the icing on the cake! What a treat!
