'Today’s Life and War'

From the “Today’s Life and War” series by Gohar Dashti of Iran: “In an image of the couple hanging laundry on a long strand of tangled barbed wire, the simplicity of the flag-like white cloths suggests peace and innocence, while the barbed wire is a harsh reminder of war frontiers.”

There is so much power in this beautifully shot image. These images in this gallery need to be displayed where more people can view and appreciate this body of work.
