We stopped at Sauvie Island, situated 10 miles north of Portland, the largest island in the Columbia River and one of the largest islands in the United States. It was beautiful and a lovely place for a leisurely drive. Part of the island is a wildlife refuge, while the rest hosts rural agriculture and residential enclaves.
There was a large property that had used various pieces of farm equipment along the road as planters. I liked this pickup the best.
The whole family, posted earlier.
