Towards the end of March I had photographed a dove and her nest on our bedroom balcony, but through frosted glass, so she wasn’t too clear. I could tell her eggs had hatched, and one day they were all gone. I had our cleaning person shoot a hose up to that little alcove to get rid of the nest and mess left behind.
Well, I noticed a few days ago that she is back! I thought I heard and saw more than one bird there, but maybe not. I didn’t know birds returned to nesting places; otherwise I might not have gotten rid of the nest, which looked very substantial and lots of work to make.
This time I went to the park that borders our house to get a real picture of her.
